Pro-democracy community organizers of Burma’s spring revolution accepted by Nan Lin
Prominent youth activist Nan Lin will accept this year’s Democracy Award on behalf of the pro-democracy community organizers of Myanmar’s Spring Revolution. The award recognizes the courage of activists who have continued organizing peaceful, decentralized protests despite arrests, surveillance, and intimidation, while advocating for democracy and fundamental freedoms in Myanmar.
